WALL PANELS FOR FILMING SETS
updated
6/08
These panel patterns were created by VoodooFX. Randy made some of them from
scratch, some were sourced for real aircraft panelling.

Goldenarmor then tooled, arranged and vacformed the patterns to create
inexpensive plastic shells that can be dressed with buttons, switches, electronics to
produce realistic looking set dressings.

They are already being used in the feature film Star Chasers.

Here's a sample of how they were creaed:
Sample of one of the original wooden patterns
This is what the raw vacuformed shells look like.
These are the first 7 patterns created using various
grades and colors of plastic.
These are interesting pieces that are
being incorporated into the panels.
They are real-world hardware from
aircraft. I reproduced them with RTV
molds.
I arranged 6 of these castings (forumulated in an aluminum composite)
symmetrically onto a backboard, vented it, and produced fast and easy
reproductions in .080 plastic. Eight of these together will cover an entire
wall section.
Finished sample with deluxe LED lighting FX!!
