What I LOVE about being an industrial fabricator is the unusual jobs that come to your doorstep. Recently, I was hired by the Wildlife Dept. to produce the hard outer shells for telemetry collars that will be fitted to wild WOLF PACKS in Canada. The client needed several hundred 3 part shells in short order and DreamScheme Studios was able to accomodate their needs. This is what that production looked like: |

In 2001 I was contacted by the Nautilus Society who were about to embark on an adventure. They were preparing to film a documentary for the Discovery Channel and would be swimming with dangerous giant SQUID. They needed bite-proof scuba armor. The fastest and most cost effective solution was fiberglass shells that would be fitted to a standard scuba suit. I fabricated the fiberglass shells and let them do the rest of their work. The suit can be seen in the special features section of the anniversary edition of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Dvd. |
