DEATHSTAR DROID PAGE

The DEATHSTAR droid project began for me in about 2002 when I had some
free time on my hands. No one had ever attemped a lifesize replica so I set to it.
I had some help from a local artist friend, Tim King, and together we set about
making a lifesize replica. Below and to the left is the finished clay sculpt, the
right side shows the raw castings made from the sculpts.

In the fall of 2007, I coordinated with my auto body paintshop to have
one professionally painted. Here's the result. Contact me if you'd be
